Conference location
The 40th ITM will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark. Copenhagen is the capital and the largest city of Denmark. Copenhagen is very well connected with all European and other countries There are several convenient train and bus connections to Copen- hagen from major European cities. ITM40 will be held at the Eigtveds Pakhus conference centre in Christiania, a charming area by the canals at the hearth of Copenhagen. The area is conveniently located close to many attractions, hotels, restau- rants, and shopping areas. Several museums, nature trails and themed gardens (such as Tivoli; the first amusement park in Europe).
Eigtveds Pakhus is well connected by the regional and the city train, as well as the metro from the Copenhagen Airport and walking distance from the central train station in Copenhagen.
Venue location
The local host of the 40th ITM is the Department of Environmental Science (ENVS) at Aarhus University, Denmark. ENVS has been active in air pollution modelling for many decades, developing state-of-the-art air pollution models from regional to address scale, as well as impact assessment models on health and ecosystems.
